Where to in Helsinki: Moko Market
As you guys probably already know, I moved to Helsinki for the fall semester! I decided to share with you some of my adventures in the Scandinavian countries as well as some of my favourite spots around. So, I’ll start off with a great shop/café in Helsinki- Moko Market. Lina and I discovered this inspiring place a few weeks ago and fell in love with it! The atmosphere was so relaxing and creative, as for the coffee and cake- YUM! First of all, Moko is a market place where you can find stunning creations by designers from all over the world such as clothes, interior, furniture, etc. Furthermore, the shop sells all kinds of extraordinary food, tea, coffee beans, jam and so much more. You can kinda get the idea by some of the photos in this post.
And moving on to the café part of Moko- the atmosphere is super relaxing and calm, I definitely recommend checking the place out! We got normal black coffee, which was good, but the highlight of our stay was the chocolate cake!! Omg, I still haven’t forgotten how nice it was.. As for the prices, I cannot lie, it’s not the cheapest place to go to in Helsinki but it was totally worth it! Moko Market has two different locations in Helsinki: Punavuori (Perämiehenkatu 10)- where we went; and Sörnäinen (Vilhonvuorenkatu 11). You can check the concept of the store/café on their website or on Foursquare, where we actually found the place.
