Lush: A dose of happiness

Lush: A dose of happiness

Why not start the day with porridge? Just not for breakfast, but under the shower. With an oatmeal soap bar? Today, I’ll tell you about 6 Lush products I simply fell in love with! I’m starting with Porridge Soap– an exfoliating soap with oat flour for immediate skin cleansing. Its abrasive texture helps remove dirt and freshens up the skin, as one of the ingredients is freshly squeezed orange juice. This soap is a great alternative to your daily exfoliant, it smells of freshly baked muffins, and its foam is just so smooth. The second product I chose for myself was the Let the Good Times Roll exfoliant. It cleanses the skin perfectly thanks to its fine abrasive texture, it smells amazing and I’m sure that all cinnamon and popcorn lovers with be pleasantly surprised! The small maize pieces clean up the face like a peeling product and the cinnamon lifts up your spirits!

The sweet treats don’t end here! The soap with honey and caramel Honey, I Washed the Kids is a real sensation. With its divine smell and soft foam, it makes my skin sooth and irresistible. In it there’s also coconut and bergamot butter, bee wax and aloe vera extract, which soothes irritated skin. When I need a little bit of happiness, I use the hair conditioner Happy Happy Joy Joy! The almond milk is one of the ingredients that hydrates and nourishes the hair to its ends, while the jojoba butter makes the hair smooth and silky. The neroli and grapefruit butter will put you in a good mood and will bring out positiveness. After I use it, my hair smells like fresh flowers. It’s amazing!

Each Peach is a massage bar, which is a great alternative to the liquid body lotion. Why in solid form? This way all ingredients stay fresh for as long as possible without the need for artificial preservatives. Its natural ingredients make it suitable for all sin types, which need hydration. Simply rub the massage bar between your hands and it starts melting. Before you realise it, it will soak into your skin. Each Peach has many of my favourite ingredients when it comes to body products – coconut butter, Shea butter, avocado and mango nut oils. The grapefruit, orange, tangerine and lime oils, give it its amazing smell. Lush has a wide range of solid shampoos. They are made in the professional Lush labs and their ingredients are completely natural and organic. The Godiva shampoo is solid 2 in 1 shampoo. It washed your hair gently, nourishes it and hydrates the hair like a conditioner. Hybiscus, jojoba extract, ylang ylang and jasmine mix in to form its amazing smell. After I use it, my hair is silky and incredibly smooth. What are your favourite Lush products?

I really like the massage bars from Lush. I also ALMOST bought that porridge soap the last time I was in there. I ended up getting a citrusy one instead because my husband liked that one better.
