Rosy cheeks Face Mask*

Designed to soothe and relax the skin, this soft and silky mask really does the trick. If you love roses and rosy smells, then this is a fresh mask you should get your hands on. Why do I like it? The moment I apply it, the relaxation feeling is there! Calamine oil acts as a main calming ingredient with its balancing qualities. Rosy pink clay purifies and detoxifies the skin. Just leave it to dry for 15 minutes. Wash off is super easy – it does not stay around the nose and eyebrows as a mask would usually do. I’d recommend it for the ladies with sensitive skin, who undergo stress and are in need of some “me” time.

Oxford Street Revamp Solid Hair Conditioner*

It feels like a good time for experiments. Here’s why I decided – let’s give this solid conditioner a try! According to Lush, it is a conditioner for easy use, designed to soften and strengthen the hair from ends to the roots. Its smell is light оf vanilla, lemon and jasmine. If I was going for the fragrance only, I wouldn’t pick the conditioner, as the scent is hardly detectable.  This aside, after using it, the results weren’t that noticeable either. It could simply be due to my hair type – I have thin, straight hair prone to greasiness.  The feeling of softness and silkiness wasn’t there, and so I cannot quite say there has been any effect as of yet.

Volcano Foot Mask*

My average day is very dynamic and includes a lot of walking. I have been looking for the right foot product to save my feet and I think I might have found it. Volcano isn’t a mask you instantly fall in love with, but it will surely leave you impressed. This minty, cooling mask is a real treat for the feet with its combination of powerful ingredients such as Kaolin and Pumice for extra fresh cleansing and fresh papaya to brighten and stimulate the skin. Looking for soft and smooth feet? Keep the mask on for just 10 minutes and see the magic yourself!

The Olive Branch Shower Gel*

The smell of this shower gel grabbed me instantly! Olive oil, fresh mandarins, bergamot oil – all scents taking me to the wonderful Mediterranean. This shower gel is a real treat for the skin. It is a bit more liquid than the usual Lush shower gels, but makes just as much soapy foam, cleanses well and moisturizes. After using it for more than a month, I can definitely say this product is one of my all-time favorites.

Buffy Body Butter Scrub*

Here’s a very effective body scrub by Lush I stumbled upon recently. Buffy isn’t among the most attractive or pleasant smelling products, but definitely surprises with its useful qualities combining both a scrub to remove excess dirt from your skin, as well as nourishing oils to give your skin extra care. Shea butter and cocoa butter are its main ingredients, both having moisturizing qualities. The grainy particles in it are aduki beans, almonds and rice. The skin glow is achieved by the help of active oils from lavender and lemon. This is the perfect body scrub and butter for the hot summer days. And though I use it sparingly, I think it is also pretty long lasting and one bar will surely be enough for this summer.

Powdered Sunshine Powdered Sunscreen*

The first powdered sunscreen I stumbled upon and so I was not sure what to expect. The most important part of the product is Octylmethoxycinnamate, which acts as a skin protector against the sun. Despite the lack of very prominent smell, the powder has many active oils as well such as lemon, patchouli and lime extracts which give the powder a refreshing effect. The product is a great alternative to when you want to apply powder on your face but there is also sun you’d want to hide yourself from. The SPF is just 15, so extra application might be necessary from time to time. The sun protection factor may not be as strong, but it is a great alternative to a light-based liquid cream.
