Avon Nutra Effects: Week 2

As I already told you last week, I’ll update you every Monday for 3 weeks about my experience with the Nutra Effects beauty products. This week I want to tell you a little bit more about the Balance line. I’ve been using both daily and gel creams for a while now and must say that I’m rather surprised by the results. I would totally recommend them for oily skin types because especially the daily cream mattes result well and prevents shininess for a few hours at least. I personally apply it only on the oily zones of my face such as the T-zone and my chin since I reckon the rest of my face is rather drier (mostly because of the chilly and windy weather lately) and needs more moisturizing.

The gel cream is actually my favorite from the Balance line since it’s super refreshing and light-textured! I usually apply it in the evenings after a light cleansing only such as the Tonic since after a scrub my face usually gets pretty dry and I opt out for a deep moisturizer. The next morning my face feels fresh and ready for the day! However, I’m not sure that I would be able to continue using both products from the Balance line in the upcoming colder months since my skin would get drier and would need heavy moisturizing in order to keep up the healthy water levels in the cells. But if your skin tends to be pretty oily then you could give these products a try and see if they can help with the excess sebum secretion and shininess of your skin. So, that was my update on the Balance Nutra Effects line this week, stay tuned for my final post next Monday when I’ll tell you my final thoughts on the Hydration line. Furthermore, Lina will also share her experience with this line and the products’ effect on her skin type. Have a great week!

I love natural products — so much better than all those chemical based products
